Description
Victor Reinz AFM34 gasket paper is a high-performance gasket solution designed for high temperature and pressure applications. It is made of advanced aramid fibers and a nitrile rubber binder, resulting in excellent sealing properties and durability. This gasket is suitable for a variety of applications, including exhaust systems and engine gaskets. The material meets the highest hygiene and safety standards and is FDA compliant, allowing it to be used safely in food contact, such as in the processing and packaging of food products. With Victor Reinz AFM34, you can be confident that your equipment and machinery will operate safely and reliably, even in demanding environments. The material is suitable for sealing gases and liquids including oils, solvents, fuels, freons, liquid gases, water/antifreeze mixtures, salt solutions, hot water and steam up to 200°C. It has high tensile strength and resistance to tension and shear and is suitable for stationary applications with a minimum installation surface pressure of 50 N/mm². Applications:
- for DIN and ANSI flange connections, devices, pumps, fittings and pipelines in industrial plants
- for fittings with very narrow sealing surfaces, e.g. in gas and hot water units, solar panels, convection radiators and couplings, etc.
- for sealed joints in internal combustion engines subject to high mechanical and thermal loads (oil filters, intake manifolds, water, fuel and vacuum pumps, etc.)
- for transmissions, gearboxes, refrigeration and air compressors, etc.
Because AFM 34 is physiologically safe, it is also suitable for use in contact with drinking water and foodstuffs, and for sealing high-purity products sensitive to harmful substances such as paint bases, vitamins, etc.
